Here are five of the original Hartland baseball figures from the company’s popular castings in 1958-62, statues depicting Babe Ruth, Stan Musial, Ted Williams and Yogi Berra, plus the Batboy figure. The 8 ½-inch figures are one of the most coveted non-card vintage collectibles, a series of hand-painted figures depicting 17 current major league stars plus Ruth. These are nice examples of the important figures, detailed as follows: 1) Stan Musial - no bat, Ex-Mt, with some slight staining – nice paint job with virtually no chipping; 2) Ted Williams – with bat, presents Ex-Mt but small section of toe plate missing that does not affect balance – virtually no chipping with some light staining at seams and folds; 3) Babe Ruth – no bat, presents Near-Mint, with very light yellowing; 4) Yogi Berra – with mask, Nr-Mt, very sharp statue with nice painting and virtually no chipping; and 5) Batboy – presents Very Good, bat broke off behind neck, with some staining and chipping at shoes, cap brim, bat knob and elbow.
